Hausjossal Cleopatra
(Cleo)
Cleo took over where her mother left-off!, but is better! She was
shown a few times in puppy classes, but really came into her own as a
Junior/Special Yearling bitch. Last year was a very special year for
us.
She started off at the end of 1999 with Best of Breed at Luton Canine
Society open show, judge: Dennis Bibby.
At Kings Lynn open all breed show, judge Ray Sullivan, she was again Best
of Breed.
Norfolk & Norwich Canine Society, judge: Ian Lazenby, Best of Breed.
Newmarket Canine Society, judge: Norma Brown, Best of Breed.
Dunstable Canine Society, judge: Melissa Chamberlain, Best of Breed.
We went to a lot of championship shows where she was consistently placed
in the first 6!
Our best moments however were at the GSD League of Great Britain
championship show, Weston Park, judge Owe Buchman, 2nd Special Yearling
bitch in a very good class.
Then at Southern Counties All Breed Championship show, judge: Alex Downey,
2nd Graduate Bitch in another very good class.
Cleo is now 2.5 years old and has just been mated to Jajos Jago of
Silkenwood, hip score total 11.
.
Crossingate Daisy
She has a hip-score of 10, a full sister of
hers also has a score of 10, her brother, Crossingate Def Leppard, has a
score of 15, and a full sister when scored at the age of 3 years had a
total score of 6. I was thrilled when she was placed 14th out of a
total class of 34 at the "2 Day National Show 1998" at Weston
Park in Junior Bitch under judge Herr Hans Peter Fetten, who commented on
the good quality of the bitches entered.
She is now 4 years old and has had two good litters to Golo v
Michelstadter Rathaus, the first produced Crossingate Erica, now owned by
Bob & Daphne Parsons and she has a total hip score of 6. I have again
retained a puppy from the second litter to Golo, Crossingate Freda.
She has so far only attended one show, at 6 months of age, where she was
placed 2nd, after leading the class for quite a while.

Novem Jena
We were very pleased with Jena, who won a good Minor Puppy bitch class
at Leicester GSD open show, judge: Ian Lazenby, best puppy in breed at the
Isle of Ely open show, judge: Bill Paterson and best of all, the puppy
bitch class at Iceni GSD Championship show, judge Herr Heinz Scheerer
(Huhnegrab). Then at Birmingham GSD open breed show, judge Sean
Kinsella, Jena was Best In Show!
Jena's hip score is total 5. Each time she was mated, she produced
some very nice puppies, and I think the best is Hausjossal Cleopatra - hip
score total 14.
